Today the Carry On Blogging Christmas Advent brings you a lovely video clip from the 1972 Carry On Christmas Thames Television special, Carry On Stuffing. Yes, quite. Although not the best bit of festive telly you're ever likely to see this is still worth a watch.

With Sid James and Terry Scott both absent from the 1972 special, Charles Hawtrey had, some would say quite rightly, expected to take top billing for this episode. The decision was made to give it to Hattie Jacques instead and unfortunately, this was the last straw for Charles and he never featured alongside the Carry On team again.

Despite this, the cast still features Hattie, Joan, Barbara, Peter and Kenneth Connor with support from Brian Oulton, Norman Rossington, Valerie Leon and Jack Douglas.
