The Order 1886. Check out the excellent project work done by our talented Games Art masters students. The MA students were tasked with creating an environment based upon the existing game The Order: 1886 from Ready at Dawn. Congratulations to them all on another superb piece of work.
The Order: 1886
The Order: 1886 is a third-person action-adventure video game developed by Ready at Dawn and SCE Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, released for PlayStation 4 in 2015. Set in an 1886 alternate history steampunk London, the game follows the Knights of the Round Table as they battle to keep the world safe from werewolves, vampires and other baddies.
Student Brief:
The MA students were tasked with creating a game environment based upon the game. This is in keeping with our strategy of giving students live studio briefs, or briefs that map closely onto what graduates can expect to do in a studio environment. In other words, the exercise is designed to prepare our graduates for a career in industry.
