Emily Lim Sarrias graduated from Escape Studios and soon found work as an animator at MPC in Montreal.
At MPC, Emily has contributed shots to multiple VFX projects, including Artemis Fowl - Time to Believe, The Voyage of Dr DoLittle, and Call of the Wild.
After leaving Escape Studios Emily joined the Technicolour MPC Academy, on the strength of her strong demo reel and a follow-up interview, and then found work as a junior animator at MPC in Canada.

MPC Academy
Emily got her start in the industry at MPC Academy, an educational programme designed by MPC to train up entry level for the animation and VFX industry. MPC offer students and graduates 12-month paid contracts, which consist of 12 weeks' training followed by 9 months of working on a show.
Emily applied to MPC online with her showreel, a cover letter and a copy of her CV. Shortly after, she was contacted by a member of MPC's HR Dept, and they arranged a Skype interview with the head of the Academy and one of the senior trainers.
Artemis Fowl
Emily Lim-Sarrias has been working on many VFX projects at MPC, including the upcoming Artemis Fowl - Time to Believe, a Disney production based on the best-selling book series, in which a young Irish criminal mastermind kidnaps the fairy LEPrecon officer Holly Short for ransom to fund the search for his missing father in order to restore the family fortune.

While at Esape Studios Emily Lim worked on a number of team projects, including the award-winning Home Sweet Home, for which Emily did the character rigging. She also contributed animation and rigging to the short film Minuet which, at 5 minutes and 30 seconds, is our most ambitious film to date.
