Catarina served as the Director and Lighting Artist on The "Escape VR Experience".
The Escape VR Experience
The Escape VR Experience is a gameplay experience designed to help introduce and educate people on Escape Studios and its undergraduate course and disciplines; as well as the different teams, facilities, and services available to its undergraduate students. The VR Experience was first launched during the Escape Studios Fresher’s Week 2022.
Eight Weeks to Complete
The Escape VR Experience took eight weeks to complete. The scene includes imagery and assets created by students at Escape Studios, across the three disciplines of Games, VFX, and Animation.
VR Optimisation
These assets had to be adjusted and optimized to then be suitable for a VR Experience.
Many artists helped out with asset/texture creation, among them: Ethan Man, Grace Elle Collett, Amelia Elizabeth Evershed , Tommy Hallam Lee Smith-Anderson.
