Congratulations to Escape Studios animation student Pietro Mingione whose short animated film "Chosen" has received a Nomination at the Great Lakes Christian Film Festival. 

Chosen was animated and directed by Escape Studios animation student Pietro Mingione.  "Chosen" is a short animated film about the power of faith.  Pietro took our MA in 3D Animation at Escape Studios, taught by veteran animator Lee Caller.

"Chosen" was animated and directed by Escape Studios animation student Pietro Mingione.  "Chosen" is a short animated film about growing up, acceptance, and the power of faith.  Pietro took our MA in 3D Animation at Escape Studios, taught by veteran animator Lee Caller.  "Chosen" was created as part of Pietro's final studio project, in which students create a short animated film, many of which have gone on to win festival awards.

Chosen was animated in Maya, rendered in Arnold, and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Pietro Mingione took our MA in 3D Animation at Escape Studios.  He also contributed to a number of projects such as the ident for the 2022 biennial BAA Awards. 

Pietro Mingione also contributed to the short film project "Giles & Rupert's Prehistoric Predicament" which has won many festival awards.

• 3 Stars Award at the British International Amateur Film Festival
• Best Micro Short at the Golden Eagle Film Festival
• Best Animation at the Eastern Europe Film Festival
• Best Director at Halicarnassus Film Festival
• Best Director at the Vesuvius Film Festival
