Catching Up With Escapees at ETC
Recently Escape Studios' Head of VFX Clement Gharini caught up with three Escapees - former Art of VFX students who have been working in the industry for a little more than a year now. Clem was curious to hear about their experience in the professional world so far, about their time at Escape Studios, and how their studies with us supported their work in industry. The video interview was held at their workplace ETC (Electric Theatre Collective), one of the UK's leading Visual Effects houses.
VFX Rising Stars
Aidan Callaghan, Alberto Scotti and Scott Middleton graduated from Escape Studios in 2022, after studying The Art of Visual Effects.

After leaving Escape Studios, they joined ETC as: CG Generalist, Junior FX Artist and Nuke Compositor, respectively.
Demo Reel
Aidan, Alberto and Scott approached the market with very strong showreels, carefully crafted while studying at Escape. The effort paid off and the three friends found themselves snatched up by Electric Theatre Collective within weeks of graduation.
One Year On
A year on, these VFX rising stars proudly speak of their achievement but also of a sense of confidence, responsibility and humility which their daily work provides. Our three Escapees are already behind major campaigns such as CocaCola and Apple. Check out their profiles and professional journey:
