Dances With Films Capsules: THE INVISIBLE MAN AND THE BLIND GIRL and WHERE WE DISAPPEAR
Sweet little film about a man no one can see who is discovered by a blind girl who actually can see him. He realizes that he maybe the key to her recovering her sight but at the cost of his invisibility. An amusing tale about life and finding a place to belong is a really nice short.
WHERE WE DISAPPEAR
A young woman sentenced to a gulag for protecting her son, has to navigate the tricky relationships with in the prison camp.
Good short feature (it runs about 73 minutes total) shows signs of it's stage bound origins. While the film works, and the performances are good the fact that the film is largely one set works against the film fully blooming. Somewhere about half way in I started to seriously think that this would have been better on a stage where events could have just happened before us.
