Tall Tales with True Queens is a documentary short about drag queens reading children's books in public libraries. We hear from drag queens, parents, and children in this documentary. The children love it, they think the drag queens are mermaids and princesses. Parents say their children never sat through a story time before without crying. Kids say the drag queens set an example that it's okay to be different.

Of course with most things, there are people who object it, and so we have the protestors. We hear from them briefly as well.

I thought this was a good doc. I learned about something that I didn't know existed, and I hope it continues to exist and expand.
