Escapee Evgenia Golubeva will be at Cartoon Forum this year to pitch her new comedy series "The Saskatoons", an original TV series aimed at young audiences. 

Cartoon Forum is Europe's biggest TV pitch-fest for animation, and takes place in Toulouse, France, from 20-23 September.

If you have an idea for an animated TV series, Cartoon Forum is the place to pitch it.

"Millie & Lou"

Escapee Evgenia Golubeva took our short course in 3D Animation at Escape Studios, and is currently directing the animated series "Millie & Lou", currently in production at Blue Zoo animation in London.

"Millie & Lou" is a Blue Zoo Original production for YouTube.  The show stemmed from a BZ "in-house initiative", creating in-house content by developing  ideas into full series productions.

About Evgenia Golubeva
Evgenia Golubeva is an award-winning animator and director who studied with us on our animation short course.

Since leaving Escape Studios, Evgenia has since forged a career as a writer and independent film-maker, entering her animated films in festivals around the world and winning international prizes for her work.

Evgenia starting working in January 2019 as a writer at Blue Zoo Animation, bringing her talent as an animator and storyteller to the commercial world of TV cartoons.

Festival Success
Since leaving Escape Studios, Evgenia has made a number of successful independent animated films, including the award-winning short "I am not a Mouse",  a story about a little girl who is nicknamed "Mouse" by her Mother, and is the basis for the new book.
