A mother and her teenage daughter move to a new town to live with the mothers boyfriend. There the girl finds the town oppressive and downright dangerous, however she forms a friendship with a large white dog who becomes her protector.

This is only tangentially a horror film with the monsters taking human form. In reality this is a fairy tale about hidden protectors helping getting us through life’s dangers. 

I was mixed on the film and need to see it again because between the title and it playing at  GrimmFest. My reservation aside it’s worth a look.
