"Backtrack" is a teaser/trailer for an animated film telling the story of a young athlete who is bullied at school. Can our hero overcome the odds and win the school track competition? The Backtrack trailer was directed by Philippa "Pip" Cowen and produced by Sihaam "Simu" Weheliye.
Software
"Backtrack" was animated in Maya, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro (the editor was Pelumi Oyekunleye) and rendered in Arnold (The CG Supervisor was Yasin Tribak). The voice for the Narrator was provided by Replica Studios AI - the first time Escape students have used AI for voice generation for their short film projects.

"Backtrack" is a trailer for an animated film about a young boy who is bullied at school, but is determined to win the school track competition. Can he overcome the odds and win the big race? Backtrack was directed by Pip Cowen, co-directed by Pelumi Oyekunleye and produced by Sihaam "Simu" Weheliye.
Monday May 29th Screening
Backtrack will be screened on Monday May 29th at the Close-Up Film Centre, 97 Sclater Street London E1 6HR
Doors open at 7,30 pm, Screening is at 8pm.
