Introducing "Bouya"

Bouya (ぼうや) | Student Short Film - Escape Studios from Alex Sellen on Vimeo.

Escape Studios is proud to introduce the latest short animated film created by our graduating animation students - "Bouya". "Bouya" was directed by Chiyoko Coyte and produced by Alex Sellen, both studying the Art of Computer Animation at Escape Studios.  "Bouya" tells the hidden story of mysterious forest creatures working together to clean up the mess left by thoughtless humans.

Bouya

Bouya is a short animated film that tells the story of a mushroom boy who is the caretaker of a forest, and recycles many different pieces of litter, along with his fellow forest dwellers.  Each must do their part to rescue creatures trapped by the waste left behind by thoughtless humans.

Graduating Class of 2023

The short was created by our graduating class of animation students, working together to create an original story.  Bouya was animated in Maya, edited in Premiere Pro, and rendered in Unreal Engine.
