Covid-19 is causing a lot of trouble for us all these days, but during tomorrow's webinar "The Schlussel Show", Andrew will explain that "Crisis Creates Opportunity". Registration is free.
Unlike live action shoots, which have ended entirely pending the lifting of the lockdown in the UK and Los Angeles, animation continues to thrive and flourish, even in these dark times.
"The Schlussel Show"
Join Framestore's Director of Global Talent Development, Andrew Schlussel, to discuss the future of working in VFX and how you can succeed in the post-Covid world. In this interactive session, students are invited to engage and ask questions.

About Andrew Schlussel
Andrew Schlussel is the Director of Global Talent Development at Framestore. He has visited us at Escape Studios on many occasions, and has very kindly worked with our students on subjects such as employability and soft skills, delivering talks to our first year undergraduate students on leadership and teamwork.
Team Projects at Escape Studios
Here at Escape Studios we put team projects at the very core of what we do. Team projects are often difficult to run, and can be stressful on the participants. But being able to work together effectively in a team is one of the most important skills we can give our students, making them much more employable as creative artists.
Our most successful student films, such as Jericho and Home Sweet Home, which are winning prizes in international festivals, are all the product of teamwork.
Our 2nd and 3rd year animation & VFX students pool their resources and skills to create outstanding film projects, with a broader scope and greater reach than they could achieve working alone.
And even now, under the lockdown, our students continue to produce excellent work, such as the teaser/trailer "Death From Above", completed last week by our second year undergraduate students.
