Cinematographer Clement Gharini is currently leading classes in cinematography in Unreal Engine to all our MA students at Escape Studios.  These classes will be of special interest to students studying our MA in Storyboarding & Previsualisation. 

As Unreal Engine becomes an increasingly important visualisation tool,  not just in Games but in Animation & VFX, Clem is introducing our students to the use of cameras in Unreal Engine, demonstrating how to integrate different tools across multiple platforms. 

Real Time Rendering with Unreal Engine

Unreal Engine's real time rendering capabilities, Blueprint system and ease of use has revolutionised the games industry and is now moving into animation and VFX. Real time rendering helps to speed up the process of animation, previsualisation, virtual reality and architectural visualisation.

Many of our student films are now being rendered in Unreal Engine, such as multiple-award-winning Quarantine Chorus.  In addition, many of our students are finding work in industry armed with knowledge of the Unreal pipeline, especially at previs houses such as The Third Floor.  See some of our recent success stories to find out more.

Unreal Engine ATC

Escape Studios is now an Unreal Engine ATC (Authorised Training Center); the only one in the UK and one of only two in Europe.  We are very honoured to be selected to be part of the program.
